About the Role

Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) is seeking an experienced Organizational Development Specialist to join its team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness through expert advice on structure, job design, and evaluation.

Role Overview

The Organizational Development Specialist will serve as SATORP's subject matter expert on organizational structure, job design, job descriptions, and job evaluation. This role provides professional guidance and recommendations to all SATORP line organizations to ensure optimal organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the company’s organization structure, including hierarchies, reporting relationships, and job titles.
  • Conduct organizational analyses to identify and address issues such as functional overlap, duplication of work, and ineffectiveness.
  • Assess the impact of organizational structure changes on efficiency and individual positions.
  • Develop and analyze organization effectiveness metrics, coordinating data collection, validation, and reporting.
  • Perform external benchmarks and reviews to enhance organizational design effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth job analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of company jobs and accurately assess work and job levels.
  • Develop, maintain, and update all job descriptions across SATORP, ensuring relevancy and consistency.
  • Perform job evaluation and grading using appropriate tools and methodologies, developing benchmark jobs and references.
  • Maintain the company’s job evaluation system and manage job placements for all positions.
  • Participate in job evaluation review projects, coordinating meetings, data collection, validation, and training.
  • Participate in periodic compensation surveys, including job matching, data gathering, and profile development.
  • Develop and maintain Technical & Professional Career Ladders and assist in identifying key competencies for all jobs.
  • Liaise with external consultants on organization design, job description, and job evaluation projects.
  • Act as a coach to HR Department personnel in areas of organization design, job analysis, and evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in organizational development, job analysis, and job evaluation. A strong understanding of organizational design principles and methodologies is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within the framework of Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP).
