About the Opportunity

Abdullah A. Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time role focuses on overseeing project execution and construction activities within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors, ensuring delivery aligns with established schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Role Overview

The Project Manager / Construction Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of industrial construction projects, particularly those involving EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) frameworks. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in managing complex projects from initiation through to successful completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the execution of Oil & Gas and Petrochemical construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Lead construction teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE policies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Review and approve project documentation, method statements, and construction plans.
• Manage project timelines, costs, and performance KPIs.
• Resolve technical, contractual, and operational challenges during project execution.
• Ensure successful commissioning, handover, and project closeout.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A solid mechanical engineering background.
• Extensive experience managing EPC and industrial construction projects.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or construction management roles, specifically within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee project execution, construction activities, and delivery in accordance with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, requiring on-site presence to effectively manage project operations and teams.
