Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves reviewing construction plans, managing project costs, and ensuring overall project efficiency. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
• Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts, to secure optimal deals.
• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary documents.
• Advise managers and clients on potential improvements and new strategies.
• Track material usage and order additional supplies as needed.
• Document any design changes and update budgets accordingly.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Travel from the office to various sites as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
• A valid driving license is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure projects.
• Solid background in safety protocols and practices.
• Proficiency across all construction disciplines with practical "how-to" knowledge.
• Strong understanding of cost management principles.
• Robust knowledge of construction coordination.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, requiring occasional travel to various project sites.
