Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing all aspects of cost control for projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to budget throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with the project team to deliver projects within financial parameters and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
• Analyze and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to the project team.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and propose alternative solutions.
• Prepare and review variation orders and claims.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with budget and contract specifications.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve cost-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all cost-related activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in construction costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost control, prepare estimates, and conduct budget analysis.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in preparing cost reports and managing variation orders.
• Ability to conduct site visits and assess project progress against financial plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven approach to work.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work within a project team environment, contributing to the financial success of construction projects.
