Service Engineer

About the Role

Kinetic Business Solutions is recruiting a Service Engineer – Steam for a reputable manufacturing and industrial company. This full-time position is based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role involves providing technical expertise and support for steam systems across various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain steam boilers, burners, feedwater systems, condensate piping, and control systems.
• Execute planned and corrective maintenance in accordance with OEM and company standards.
• Perform mandatory on-site risk assessments and report unsafe conditions or near misses immediately.
• Support statutory inspections as per Saudi regulatory requirements (*, SGS, Lloyds, Apave).
• Ensure accurate operation of boiler safety logic, including BON/BOFF/PSH/WP parameters.
• Act as the primary technical expert at customer sites, including refineries, petrochemical complexes (*, Jubail, Yanbu), and mega projects.
• Provide operational guidance and training to customer operators.
• Complete service reports, commissioning sheets, and timesheets accurately and submit them daily to the Service Manager.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, PPE, and diagnostic devices in optimal working condition.
• Rigorously follow company and Saudi customer site safety procedures.

Regional Deployment

The Service Engineer will primarily support operations across the Eastern Province, Riyadh, and the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, particularly during shutdowns and peak seasonal demand. Deployment to GCC countries may be required, but the primary responsibility remains within Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in a service engineering role, specifically with steam systems.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in steam boilers, burners, feedwater systems, and control systems.
• Ability to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks independently.

Work Environment

This role involves working on-site at various industrial and manufacturing facilities, including refineries and petrochemical complexes, primarily in Al Jubail, Yanbu, and Riyadh. Adherence to strict safety procedures is mandatory.
