About the Contract Specialist Role

Hatch, in partnership with Ma'aden, is seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Project Delivery Group in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This contract-based role is central to supporting major mining and infrastructure projects, focusing on the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts for EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects. The specialist will ensure commercial effectiveness and contractual compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support contracting strategies and tendering activities for EPCM projects.
• Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer construction and service contracts.
• Manage bidder prequalification, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Coordinate contract changes, variations, claims, and closeout activities.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Maintain contract records, reporting, and contract management systems.
• Work closely with procurement, legal, project controls, and project teams to manage contractual risks and commercial matters.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management, specifically within EPCM projects or related large-scale mining and infrastructure developments. A strong understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and project lifecycle management is essential to effectively manage contractual risks and ensure compliance.

Work Location and Hours

This position is based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, at the Chamber of Commerce Building, Al - Shati, Fanateer. The standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.
