About the Role

Penspen is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Superintendent, also known as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing the mechanical aspects of projects within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Superintendent - Senior Mechanical Engineer will oversee the execution of mechanical engineering tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This includes managing site activities, supervising construction and fabrication, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore construction and fabrication projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in fabrication yards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of Offshore Oil & Gas EPC project lifecycles.
• Expertise in offshore construction and fabrication methodologies.
• Experience in managing and supervising fabrication yard operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
