Job Description

About the Role

Penspen, a leader in energy services with over 65 years of global experience, is seeking a skilled Scheduling/Planning Engineer to join its PMS project. Founded in the UK in 1954, Penspen has grown to nearly 1,000 employees with significant international offices. This role is integral to managing the project controls team and providing essential project control support to the Project Management team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) from the KJO front-end development department, with a focus on cost, schedule, and risk aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the project controls team assigned to various projects.
  • Provide comprehensive project control support to the Project Management team.
  • Review early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) focusing on cost, schedule, and risk.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent closely related field, OR a Diploma with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Planning and Scheduling.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience is required for candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience is required for candidates holding a Diploma and Certificate.
  • Possession of an engineering, construction, or project management degree is necessary.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Project Controls.
  • Expertise in Cost Management.
  • Strong capabilities in Schedule Management.
  • Experience in Risk Management.

Work Location and Experience

This is a full-time position based in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The required experience level for this role is between 5 to 10 years.
