About the Senior Planning Officer Role

Almarai, a leading food and beverage company in the MENA region, is seeking a Senior Planning Officer (Transport & Logistics) to join its team in Al-Kharj. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience to ensure the efficient planning and execution of transport and warehousing operations.

Role Overview

The Senior Planning Officer will be responsible for aligning all resources and planning for the smooth operation of transport and warehousing. This includes monitoring and managing key systems such as SAP Maintenance, SAP Fury, YMS, SAP TM, and TMS Planning Scheduler to ensure operational continuity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage YMS, SAP TM, SAP Fiori, and TMS planning, including daily monitoring and updating of reefer plans.
  • Track daily warehouse movements and coordinate additional material transfers as needed.
  • Liaise with Production, Transport, and Yard teams to coordinate resources, including backload and de-stuffing plans.
  • Maintain daily communication with Inventory, Warehouse, Depot Logistics, and Supply Planning teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma qualification in a related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent reporting abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al-Kharj. Almarai is a large, established company with a significant presence across the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan, employing over 43,000 individuals.
