About the Quality Inspector Role

Almarai is seeking a Quality Inspector for its manufacturing facility located in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the Site Quality department, focusing on the effective implementation of the Quality Control function.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Quality Inspector is to efficiently implement the Quality Control function. This involves ensuring consistent adherence to Good Laboratory Practices and providing timely, accurate test results. These results are critical for making informed decisions regarding the acceptance, release, or rejection of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Implement the Quality Control function effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure consistent adherence to Good Laboratory Practices.
• Provide timely and accurate test results for materials and products.
• Support the decision-making process for raw material, in-process, and finished product disposition based on test outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Fluency in English.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a food testing laboratory environment.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements and laboratory quality management systems.
• Understanding of analytical method validation, verification, and quality control practices.
• Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and instrument performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements pertaining to contaminants and residues.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based at Almarai's facility in Al-Kharj. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
