About the Accountant General Role
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Accountant General to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role involves managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of figures, postings, and financial documents.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and generate associated reports as specified.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
- Follow up on and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until full payment is received or the issue is resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees.
- Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances.
- Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.

- Uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protect company assets.
- Ensure the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
- Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support team efforts to achieve common goals.
- Listen to and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or *** equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience is required for this role.
Work Environment Details
This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, within the Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts organization.
