About the Role

Salla is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team in Makkah. This full-time position supports the company's financial operations and reporting processes within one of the MENA region's fastest-growing e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities related to fixed assets, including recording, tracking, and maintaining accurate asset records.
• Manage and process prepaid expenses accounting, ensuring proper allocation and reconciliation.
• Process daily operational transactions and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing required schedules, entries, and supporting documents.

Additional Duties

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Practical knowledge of account reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction processing.
• Experience or academic exposure to fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and month-end closing activities.

Required Skills

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
