This position requires diligent financial oversight. Responsibilities include following up on the auditing and approval of disbursements by accredited regulatory bodies. The Accountant will monitor current and capital expenditures based on the monthly financial position of budget items. Preparation of the financial position, monthly summaries, and annual closing accounts are also key functions. Furthermore, the role involves developing accounting methods and procedures and staying informed about scientific and technical developments in the accounting field.

Documentation and Record Keeping
