About the Branch Accountant Role

Al Qaryan is seeking a dedicated Branch Accountant to join our team in Dammam and Al Khobar. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential financial analysis to support branch operations. The Branch Accountant will play a key role in the financial success and strategic decision-making processes of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement company policies and procedures for receiving and depositing cash payments.
  • Process cash advance payments to suppliers, verifying credit limits and adherence to the company's credit policy.
  • Prepare the daily cash activity report.
  • Conduct daily cash counts at the start and end of the day, reconciling balances with the ERP/SAP System.
  • Maintain organized files for all cash receipts, invoices, and job orders according to established filing policies.
  • Support cash flow forecasting by gathering input from facility managers and relaying this information to the Treasury department.
  • Review petty cash expenses for accuracy and completeness.
  • Sign temporary receipt vouchers for monetary payments and record all associated entries.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Major: Accounting
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Accounting.
  • Experience: 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Citizenship: Saudi nationals are required for this position.

Location and Work Type

This full-time position is based in our branches located in Dammam and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Candidates should reside in or be willing to relocate to these areas within the Eastern Province.
