D BIM / BOQ SECTION HEAD

About the Role

Restart is seeking an experienced 5D BIM / BOQ Section Head to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position involves leading quantity take-offs, integrating Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and managing BIM-based cost activities for various projects.

Role Overview

The Section Head will be responsible for the implementation and management of 5D BIM processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project documentation. This role requires close coordination with multiple teams to support cost control and manage quantity changes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and integration of 5D BIM with Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Manage the extraction and validation of quantities from BIM models.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, planning, and commercial teams.
• Monitor quantity changes and provide support for cost control activities.
• Establish and refine processes for model-based measurement and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency between BIM models, BOQs, and all project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of 5D BIM principles, quantity surveying practices, BOQ preparation, and cost control methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with BIM-based quantity take-off and proficiency in relevant software.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern region. The role involves working collaboratively within a project-focused environment.
