About the E-commerce Trading Manager Role

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is seeking an experienced E-commerce Trading Manager to join its E-Commerce Team. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and is central to driving online sales performance and optimizing the customer journey on the company's digital platforms.

Purpose of the Position

The E-commerce Trading Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the overall trading performance of the e-commerce platform. This involves strategic planning and execution of promotional activities, leveraging data insights, and managing a team to achieve sales and conversion targets effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of trading performance and provide insights for key directional and trade meetings to inform promotional plan decisions.
  • Execute the promotional plan, making decisions on website implementation to maximize visitor attention, drive sales, and improve conversion rates.
  • Manage the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of promotional activities, including out-of-hours and weekend checks.
  • Utilize web analytics tools and collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to monitor website performance, evaluate promotion success, and recommend changes.
  • Generate performance reports correlating sales KPIs with web analytics and customer preferences.
  • Conduct regular competitor activity reviews across both retail stores and online channels to understand market dynamics.
  • Review onsite search behavior to understand keyword queries and optimize product placement within search pages to drive conversion.
  • Ensure an optimum user experience on a day-to-day basis, consulting regularly with the User Experience team.
  • Achieve established sales and conversion targets through effective trade planning and execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce trading and merchandising is mandatory.
  • Overall professional experience ranging from 5 to 10 years.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced knowledge in Excel.
