EHS Officer

About the Role

Dar Rayhaan by Rotana is seeking an EHS Officer to join our team in Al Khobar. This full-time position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Role Overview

The EHS Officer will play a key role in upholding environmental, health, and safety standards within the organization. This involves proactive identification of hazards, implementation of corrective measures, and continuous improvement of safety protocols to protect employees and ensure operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as first aid, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience required: 0-1 years in an EHS role.
• Demonstrated understanding of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, within the Dar Rayhaan by Rotana team. The role involves working to ensure a safe and compliant environment across the organization.
