About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Field Service Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves providing specialized expertise and support for a range of environmental products, focusing on boiler systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting on boilers.
  • Ensure all field activities comply with operational and safety standards.
  • Provide on-site technical support, diagnose issues, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on complex technical challenges.
  • Conduct routine and emergency inspections to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to assess boilers and auxiliary systems.
  • Prepare service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs.
  • Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and improvements to clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and boiler technology advancements.
  • Build client relationships and identify service or upgrade opportunities.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of boilers.
  • Provide technical advisory for new and existing equipment.
  • Collect and analyze field data.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams with minimal supervision.
  • Support project startups, outages, and construction activities.
  • Assist in identifying project and parts opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years of experience in boiler field service or maintenance, with 5-8 years specifically noted in the original requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler controls, instrumentation, and auxiliary systems.
  • Experience in conventional power and oil & gas industries.
  • Relevant boiler operation, maintenance, or safety certifications are considered a plus.

Required Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This role requires frequent travel to client sites and involves working in industrial environments that may include high temperatures, noise, and confined spaces.
