Job Description
About the Role
Castrol KSA is seeking a Finance Specialist to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position plays a critical role in balancing risk control with commercial support to drive sustainable growth, particularly within the lubricant sector. The role requires close collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
Core Responsibilities
- Review customer credit history and perform credit evaluations prior to order release.
- Assess the creditworthiness of new customers and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
- Open and maintain customer accounts in the system, ensuring all documentation and approvals are completed.
- Conduct periodic credit reviews for existing customers, typically every six months or as required.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies, internal controls, and approval authorities.
Collections and Dispute Management
- Monitor collections performance and ensure the achievement of monthly targets.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and support collection efforts, coordinating with external collection agencies when necessary.
- Visit customers as needed for reconciliation, credit evaluation, and collection support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve disputes and unblock orders.
- Ensure proper clearance of sales representatives in relation to collections and documentation.
Reporting and Team Oversight
- Ensure regular balance confirmations and maintain accurate account reconciliations.
- Prepare and share weekly aging reports and monthly Statements of Account (SOA).
- Review and process credit notes in alignment with Sales and Finance teams.
- Lead and supervise the credit team, assign portfolios, and monitor daily performance.
Key Performance Indicators
- Collection performance versus target.
- Reduction in overdue balances.
- Improvement in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Accuracy and timeliness of aging reports.
- Completion rate of credit reviews.
- Order release turnaround time.
- Number of unresolved disputes.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance or credit management. This role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives and support business growth.
