About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a full-time position in Al Khobar. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources Office, focusing on recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. The Human Resources Manager ensures the delivery of HR services that meet employee needs and support business success, while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including establishing contact with external sources, attending job fairs, and overseeing candidate identification and selection.
  • Provide expertise to property managers on selection procedures and partner with vendors for effective advertisement of open positions.
  • Administer employee benefits by working with unemployment service providers, responding to claims, and preparing activity reports.
  • Manage employee development through departmental orientation programs, cross-training initiatives, and ongoing training.
  • Ensure coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation to emphasize guest service and company culture.
  • Maintain employee relations by assisting with communication channels, reviewing progressive discipline documentation, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Partner with Loss Prevention for employee accident investigations and communicate performance expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company practices, including proper maintenance of employee files, medical records, and adherence to privacy acts.
  • Facilitate drug testing processes where applicable and communicate property rules and safety policies.
  • Manage Workers Compensation claims and represent Human Resources at the property Safety Committee.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment, compensation, and training functions.
  • Strong understanding of applicable employment laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
  • Experience in administering employee benefits and managing employee relations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, where the Human Resources Manager will work as part of the property's Human Resources support staff.
