Merchant acquisition manager

About the Role

Tasheel Finance is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is central to driving merchant growth and expanding our network, contributing significantly to the company's strategic objectives.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to acquire, negotiate, and onboard strategic merchants. The successful candidate will be instrumental in contributing to the growth of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) volume, revenue, and overall market share for Tasheel Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business outcomes related to merchant acquisition and network expansion.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless merchant integration and support.
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting on acquisition activities and performance.
• Support broader strategic objectives of Tasheel Finance through effective merchant partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Mandatory background in fintech, BNPL, acquiring, payments, or merchant-services is essential for this role.

Performance Indicators and Success Metrics

Performance in this role will be measured against specific key indicators and success metrics, including:

• Achieving targets for signed merchants.
• Maintaining pipeline value coverage greater than 3x the target.
• Ensuring a merchant activation rate exceeding 90%.
• Optimizing the time from the first meeting to contract signature.
• Maximizing Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) contribution from acquired merchants.
• Consistently meeting or exceeding 100% of the annual acquisition target.
• Maintaining 95% CRM hygiene.
• Building a repeatable merchant acquisition pipeline.
• Developing and expanding a top-tier merchant network.
