About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Project Control Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role is central to ensuring that Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects are delivered within approved cost and schedule baselines. The Project Control Manager will oversee planning, cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, and performance reporting for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including baseline and subsequent updates.
  • Manage project cost control systems and track budget adherence.
  • Prepare comprehensive project performance reports covering cost, schedule, and progress.
  • Conduct variance analysis and highlight deviations from planned baselines.
  • Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Support risk analysis and contribute to mitigation planning efforts.
  • Monitor and report on earned value management (EVM) metrics.
  • Prepare client and internal project reporting dashboards.
  • Support cost analysis for change orders and variations.
  • Ensure project controls are aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Assist in project forecasting and estimates to complete.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with at least 8 years specifically within EPC projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and various cost control systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The role involves working within a project-focused environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
