About the Project Manager Role

Yokogawa is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves managing and driving all assigned Analyzer Projects to successful completion, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to scope, cost, and schedule parameters. The Project Manager will lead the project team both technically and contractually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review sales documents and coordinate with the sales team for Internal Kick-off Meetings (IKOM).
  • Prepare for and attend Customer Kick-off Meetings (CKOM).
  • Review project contractual, technical, product specification, and standard requirements.
  • Manage projects through all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Close-out.
  • Oversee project integration, scope, duration, cost, quality, human resources, communication, and procurement management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Estimate and plan manpower and materials for the entire project.
  • Develop project schedules and provide progress reporting.
  • Manage progress billing, contract claims, and customer meetings.
  • Compile and submit requested reports to the Department Manager / Planning team in a timely manner.
  • Review Work Breakdown Structure, Bar chart Schedule, S-Curve, Manpower Histograms, and Resource Allocation.
  • Guide the team in resolving and overcoming daily operational challenges.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on technical and other issues to meet delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and review Project Monthly Progress Reports.
  • Attend Customer Project Progress review meetings.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, costing, and coordination.
  • Prepare project budgets and implement cost control systems, arranging resources from the resource pool.
  • Coordinate with Customer Project Managers/Engineers on commercial and technical issues.
  • Review and approve Scope of Work deviations.
  • Prioritize project team activities based on customer and management requirements.
  • Compile and submit Change Notices, Waivers, and Concessions.
  • Prepare and regularly update Project Summaries and Risk Registers.
  • Initiate, arrange, and coordinate with the Service department for project warranty and handover to the Regional Service Department (RSD).
  • Manage resources according to the project schedule and milestones.
  • Achieve individual KPIs and contribute to the achievement of department KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with experience in Chemical or Instrumentation fields.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the process analyzer business within the Middle East.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and project management of Liquid & Gas Analyzer Systems.
  • Familiarity with Aramco / Sabic, etc., Engineering standards is considered an advantage.
