About the Role
UNISIS Engineering is seeking a qualified QC Piping Inspector to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves performing inspection and quality control activities for piping systems, including above-ground and RTR underground installations. The inspector will ensure strict compliance with Aramco standards, approved ITPs, and project specifications.
Role Overview
The QC Piping Inspector will be responsible for monitoring installation, inspection, and documentation processes. This includes maintaining quality and safety standards across all site activities related to mechanical piping. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in piping inspection, specifically with Aramco approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of piping systems (above ground and RTR underground) in accordance with approved ITPs and project specifications.
- Verify compliance with Aramco standards and SAP approval requirements.
- Monitor the fit-up, installation, routing, and alignment of piping systems.
- Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate effectively with site engineers, supervisors, and client inspectors.
- Ensure all inspection activities adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Identify and report non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and comprehensive quality documentation records.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in piping inspection.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification: Aramco Approval (SAP Number is mandatory).
- Preferred: Aramco CBT Qualification.
- Preferred: ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Preferred: API certification (API 570 or equivalent).
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, requiring on-site presence to manage and oversee quality control activities for piping installations. The role involves collaboration with various project stakeholders and adherence to stringent industry standards.
