RT Technician

About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a qualified RT Technician to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in the field. The role involves performing essential radiography operations and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.

Role Overview

The RT Technician will operate as a Level II technician, responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment necessary for radiography work. This position is critical for maintaining safety standards and delivering accurate results in radiographic inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate radiography equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform area monitoring using a Radiation Survey Meter during RT operations.
• Wear appropriate radiation safety monitoring gadgets, including TLD and Pocket Dosimeter, throughout RT operations.
• Install barricading, warning signs, and warning lights as required by site conditions before commencing radiography work.
• Carry out the processing, evaluation, and sentencing of radiographs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Level II Technician.
• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience in radiography.
• Demonstrated ability to set up and calibrate specialized equipment.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using Radiation Survey Meters and other safety monitoring gadgets.
• Strong understanding and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to accurately process, evaluate, and interpret radiographs.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern region. The role requires on-site work, including the installation of safety measures and direct involvement in radiography operations.
