Safety Manager

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing the project's health, safety, and environment (HSE) management system to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all applicable regulations and company HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project HSE Management Plan.
• Supervise Safety Supervisors and Safety Officers across the project.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and ensure control measures are implemented effectively.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, permits, and company procedures.
• Conduct site HSE audits, inspections, and safety walkdowns.
• Coordinate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talk programs.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project and senior management.
• Liaise with client HSE representatives and regulatory authorities.
• Manage emergency response planning and drills.
• Promote a strong safety culture and behavior-based safety programs across the site.
• Review and approve method statements and risk assessments for high-risk activities.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in safety management within a project environment. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field is required.

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern region. The role involves working within a project setting, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
