About the Role
ABB is seeking a Sales Engineer Motion Drive Products to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on the sales of products and solutions within a designated market or division, aligning with the overall division strategy.
Role Context
ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions, and related services to industrial customers. The division's objective is to enhance energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes. Its portfolio includes motors, generators, and drives for diverse applications across all industrial sectors. This role specifically contributes to the Drive Products Division in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Key accountabilities include:
- Communicating details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions to customers, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and effectively communicating the value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities within the designated market.
- Managing administrative procedures within sales processes and providing support for cash collection and project management activities when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in Sales and Account Management.
- Enhanced knowledge of CRM tools, such as SalesForce.
- A proactive approach to working with people and engaging new customers, coupled with enthusiasm for motion control applications.
- A commitment to supporting, retaining, and developing sales channels in multi-stakeholder business environments.
- Possession of a current and valid work license for Saudi Arabia.
