Senior Data Engineering Manager

Role Overview

The Senior Data Engineering Manager will lead the organization's overall data strategy, governance, and management function. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and focuses on ensuring data is treated as a strategic business asset. The role involves building and executing the data management roadmap, improving data quality, and establishing enterprise-wide governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise-wide data strategy, aligning data initiatives with corporate objectives and long-term business priorities.
• Establish data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls to ensure data quality, integrity, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the full data lifecycle, including acquisition, integration, storage, management, and analytics.
• Collaborate with IT and technology teams to develop and optimize enterprise data architecture, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to generate business insights, develop innovative solutions, and improve operational efficiency.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and foster a data-literate culture across the organization.
• Build and lead the Data Management function, including managing teams, budgets, performance, and organizational development.
• Advise the CTO and senior leadership on data strategy, performance, opportunities, risks, and transformation initiatives.

Strategic Leadership and Technical Expertise

This is a strategic leadership position that requires a combination of strong technical data expertise with capabilities in business transformation, governance, and executive stakeholder management. The role is central to leveraging data, analytics, AI, and ML to drive business performance, operational efficiency, and innovation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 13+ years of experience in a relevant field.
