About the Role
Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Key Account Specialist to manage and develop relationships with Saudi Aramco, a key client. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role operates in strict adherence to the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and BV Group policy, ensuring high standards of integrity and service delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the Senior Key Account Specialist for Aramco, ensuring compliance with all license certifications to operate (LTO) and required authorizations for BV as per client requirements.
- Track, assess, and report Bureau Veritas's market share with Aramco.
- Conduct the company's customer satisfaction survey for Aramco, examine results, and implement appropriate actions based on customer feedback.
- Maintain and expand relationships with significant clients, ensuring effective onboarding of new clients.
- Represent Bureau Veritas professionally, including attending trade shows and participating in other industry events.
- Build and implement a clear communications strategy, both internally and externally.
- Ensure all processes and procedures are in place to deliver a high level of service performance safely and without environmental impact.
- Carry out additional tasks to help Bureau Veritas maintain its position in the Oil & Gas markets.
Sales and Business Development Focus
- Meet assigned sales targets for "Key Account - Aramco" for Eastern region activities in OPEX & CAPEX/Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical sectors.
- Arrange sales and business development meetings with clients and identify new prospective/potential markets.
- Initiate the sales pipeline after client visits and meetings, preparing proposals and reviewing/signing Purchase Orders as required.
- Develop a market intelligence database and market mapping for end-users/affiliates and Aramco facilities (IK & OTK).
- Identify required pre-qualifications, approvals, and necessary registrations for Bureau Veritas's profile with Aramco.
- Research, develop, and execute strategies to identify market opportunities and plan/assist Aramco’s sales and marketing efforts.
- Follow the process for bid approvals and develop sales through the direct sales channel.
- Write business plans for all present and future business opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve the annual sales goal of 100%.
- Provide accurate client information and support to operation and collection teams to ensure smooth job execution, invoicing, and collection.
- Conduct a minimum of three meetings per month with major Key stakeholders.
- Attend four exhibitions per year (one per quarter) and all job explanation meetings, submitting proposals within due dates.
- Attend all kick-off meetings for awarded contracts.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data in Sales Force.
- Organize client meetings for company growth and sales, and create an effective sales pipeline.
- Devise strategies to penetrate new markets with clients and sectors, and analyze possibilities for cross-selling.
- Provide regular reporting of sales KPIs, trend analysis, and appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain discipline, including QHSE requirements compliance, adherence to office working conditions, the code of ethics, and resilience in assigned tasks.
Experience and Technical Tools
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant key account management or business development role, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors. Proficiency in specific technical tools is essential for this position:
- Utilize Sales Force to maintain data integrity and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Employ SAP Ariba to track and manage RFQs, LTO certifications, and documentation for the Aramco portal.
- Regularly report activities for Aramco to the Key Account Manager (KAM).

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, requiring a proactive approach to client engagement and market development within a structured quality assurance framework.
