Sr. Technical Professional Electrical

About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Technical Professional - Electrical to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves the study, design, specification, and services related to various electrical and electronic systems. The position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience who can independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques to address complex design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Professional will be responsible for conventional aspects of electrical engineering, including devising new approaches to problems and planning work. Key responsibilities include:

• Studying, designing, and specifying electrical and electronic systems, such as power generation, transmission, distribution, and control.
• Managing cabling, wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding, lightning protection, and heat tracing.
• Providing technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Leading a functional area on small projects or segments of larger projects.
• Planning, budgeting, organizing, coordinating, and controlling projects as a lead.
• Conducting employee performance appraisals and coaching lower-level professionals.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a strong educational background and relevant professional experience. The essential qualifications include:

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience, with an average experience range of 6-10 years.
• Sufficient professional experience to demonstrate competence as a fully trained professional.
• Broad knowledge of engineering precedents and established practices.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualification will be highly regarded:

• Certification as a Licensed or Chartered Professional Engineer.

Work Environment
