About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Sr. Technical Professional - Structural to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves the design, specification, and related services for structures and foundations constructed from concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products. The position requires a professional who can independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques and procedures.

Role Overview

The Sr. Technical Professional will operate under general supervision, performing all conventional aspects of the structural engineering functional area. This includes devising new approaches to problems encountered and planning, scheduling, and conducting work that demands judgment in applying engineering criteria. The work involves conventional engineering practice, but may also include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitable conventional materials, and challenging coordination needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Lead a functional area on small projects or segments of larger projects, where applicable.
• Plan, budget, organize, coordinate, and control projects, where applicable.
• Conduct employee performance appraisals and coach and develop junior professionals, where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience is necessary, with average experience ranging from 6-10 years.
• Sufficient professional experience to demonstrate competence as a fully trained professional.
• Requires broad knowledge of precedents in structural engineering.
• Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
