Sustainability Manager

About the Role

Nesma & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. is seeking a Sustainability Manager to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time position involves leading the sustainability department and ensuring the effective implementation of strategic objectives. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Strategic Contribution and Leadership

The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for cascading the departmental strategy into operational plans, ensuring alignment and integration with other departmental strategies. This role involves leading the sustainability department to achieve its objectives through effective management and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective cascading of the Sustainability departmental strategy into operating plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
• Manage the effective achievement of Sustainability objectives through the leadership of the Sustainability department by setting individual objectives, managing performance, and developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
• Lead the talent development initiatives for the Sustainability department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensuring the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
• Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the Sustainability department to foster a value-driven culture within the organization.
• Manage the preparation, recommend the department budget, and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a department effectively.
• Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
