Role Overview

Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker Co. is seeking a Technician to join our team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves maintaining and repairing various home appliances and air conditioning units. The Technician will ensure optimal functionality and efficiency for customers by carrying out maintenance jobs based on orders received from customer service, application, or supervisors.

Technical Maintenance and Repair

• Perform service maintenance jobs on appliances and AC units as received from Customer Service or the application.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Repair or replace defective parts or components as needed to restore functionality.
• Test-run units to ensure satisfactory completion of service jobs.
• Respond to emergency service calls and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.

Field Operations and Safety

• Ensure that necessary tools, consumables, and spare parts are available in the service vehicle.
• Coordinate with assistant technicians to ensure the “Vehicles Preventive Maintenance Checklist” is properly implemented.
• Adhere strictly to prescribed safety practices and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment provided.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Customer Engagement and Service Quality

• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Maintain good relationships with customers through professional behavior, performance, and excellent hygiene.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.

Continuous Improvement and Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.
• Report additional problems identified during inspection to supervisors immediately for further advice.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to the field and product.
• Provide training and guidance to assistant technicians or new hires as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a technician or in a similar role, with 0-1 years of experience, preferably in the relevant industry.
• Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as needed.
