DC Senior Data Specialist VOIS

About the Role

Vodafone is seeking a DC Senior Data Specialist - VOIS to join the team in Al Qatif. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on developing and maintaining complex SQL queries for sales commission calculations within VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions).

Role Context and Purpose

VOIS is a strategic arm of Vodafone Group Plc, delivering solutions through Talent, Technology & Transformation. As the largest shared services organization in the global telco industry, VOIS works with customers across 28 countries. This role is based within Finance Shared Services and involves analyzing complex data, performing quality controls, and continuously improving commission calculation and reporting processes. The specialist will translate complex figures into clear, meaningful reports and deliver accurate outputs within established deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries that support sales commission calculations.
• Calculate monthly commission payments using complex data structures.
• Analyze data to identify insights and help prevent system, calculation, and product-related issues.
• Create, maintain, and perform controls to support accurate calculations and payments.
• Conduct regular quality checks and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Produce commission reports that enable informed decisions across the end-to-end process.
• Present complex data and findings in a clear, accurate, and accessible format.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate proactively to support reliable delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in data analysis.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, preferably gained within a Teradata environment.
• Experience with sales-related processes, ideally involving dealer or employee commissions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and/or Access.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to approach detailed and complex data with accuracy and a strong focus on quality.
• Capability to organize multiple priorities and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
• Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and clear communication.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of German is beneficial but not essential.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic, SAP Sales Cloud, or an ETL tool is beneficial but not essential.
