About the Role
Confidential Government is seeking a highly experienced Development Sr. Director Real Estate to lead and manage multiple real estate development projects from initiation through completion. This full-time, Eastern region role based in Al Qatif requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development.
Role Overview and Strategic Leadership
The Senior Director – Real Estate Development will be responsible for the comprehensive management of real estate projects, ensuring successful delivery across all phases. This includes overseeing concept initiation, design, approvals, infrastructure, construction, marketing, and sales. The role demands strong leadership to guide multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring projects align with the company’s strategic objectives, are delivered on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities in Project Lifecycle Management
The core responsibilities encompass leading the full lifecycle of real estate development projects, from feasibility studies to completion and commercialization. This involves defining development strategies, execution plans, budgets, and schedules. The Director will provide executive oversight, ensuring projects meet business objectives, quality standards, and market demands. Key areas of focus include:
- Development Strategy & Project Leadership: Defining strategies, execution plans, budgets, and schedules; providing executive direction.
- Design & Pre-Development Management: Overseeing master planning, architectural and engineering design, and managing design consultants.
- Infrastructure & Construction Management: Leading infrastructure development (roads, utilities, landscaping) and superstructure construction (residential, commercial, mixed-use).
- Project Controls & Financial Management: Managing development budgets, cost plans, financial performance, and procurement strategies.
- Stakeholder & Team Management: Leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with government authorities, investors, and partners.
- Marketing & Sales Integration: Collaborating with marketing and sales teams on positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- Quality, Risk & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing quality assurance, and managing development risks.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is preferred. The role requires strong knowledge of development processes, construction methodologies, project finance, and market positioning, along with proven experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

This is a full-time position located in Al Qatif, within the Eastern region.
