Instrument Engineer

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to join a reputable Oil & Gas Company. This full-time position is based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, covering cities such as Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, Buqayq, and Al Khafji. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply strong experience in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)/Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Reliability Engineering.
• Demonstrate expertise in Instrumentation, Control Systems, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
• Work with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)/Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Control Valves, Field Instrumentation, and Calibration processes.
• Possess knowledge of IEC 61511, ISA Standards, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Studies, and Functional Safety principles.
• Participate in RCM, FMEA, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), and RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) workshops.
• Develop and validate strategies for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM), Proof Testing, and Calibration.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Instrument Engineer.
• Experience within Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power, or other Industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with SAP PM is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is SAR 8,000 - 10,000 per month.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position located in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, with potential assignments across Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, Buqayq, and Al Khafji.
