About the Role

Hyatt Place AlUla is seeking an experienced Italian Chef de Cuisine to lead its Italian kitchen operations. This full-time position is based in Al Ula and will play a key role in the opening of the new Hyatt Place property, which features 215 guestrooms and multiple food and beverage outlets designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers.

Role Overview

As the Chef de Cuisine – Italian, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Italian kitchen. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality Italian cuisine and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of Italian culinary practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Italian kitchen.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Develop and maintain the Italian menu offerings.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff.
• Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste control.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Requires 5-10 years of experience.
• Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or in a similar role within Italian cuisine is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Good understanding of food cost control and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Al Ula. You will be part of the team responsible for establishing and operating a new Hyatt Place property, contributing to its success in a growing region.
