Position Overview

Beeah Planners, Architects and Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their consultant team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves supervising the implementation of a security systems development project.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting electrical works, reviewing technical documentation, monitoring the quality of execution, and coordinating with various disciplines. This role also includes active participation in testing and commissioning phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical works on site and monitor their implementation.
• Review electrical drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications.
• Review Method Statements and Installation Test Plans (ITPs) for electrical works.
• Examine electrical materials, equipment, and related technical documents.
• Inspect incoming electrical materials and equipment to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Ensure that executed works comply with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review Requests for Information (RFI) and technical inquiries.
• Monitor discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions, requesting and reviewing Redline Drawings when necessary.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and security systems teams.
• Participate in inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Review As-Built drawings, operation and maintenance documents, and relevant certifications.
• Contribute to handover activities and Punch List closure.
• Prepare and contribute to weekly and monthly technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in supervising the execution of electrical works.
• Experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or security systems projects.
• Ability to work as a Resident Engineer on site.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Good knowledge of drawings, specifications, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning works.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, site-based position. Experience working for a consulting firm or in project supervision is considered an advantage.
