About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Full-time Assistant, Bar Sorter to join our operational team in Dammam. This role is integral to supporting the efficient and accurate sorting of rebars, ensuring compliance with production standards and delivery schedules.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct assistance to Bar Sorters. This involves ensuring that rebars are correctly identified and segregated by size, grade, and batch, which is crucial for maintaining quality control and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and segregation of rebars according to specific production requirements.
• Support the movement of sorted bars to designated stacking or storage locations.
• Aid in the internal transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas.
• Ensure the safe stacking and proper alignment of bars to prevent damage or hazards.
• Contribute to the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and associated work areas.
• Report any observed equipment faults or potential safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate any production or quality-related issues to supervisors as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant industrial or manufacturing environment.

Workplace Standards and Collaboration

This role requires strict adherence to all established safety protocols and the consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintaining a clean and hazard-free sorting area is paramount. The Assistant, Bar Sorter will work closely with various team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve operational objectives.
