Job Purpose:
The Assistant Manager will oversee all financial accounting and analysis efforts, providing both timely and precise financial reports. Key responsibilities will include payroll administration, compliance, reporting, and audit support.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation and analysis of periodic cash forecasts and reporting.
  • Manage employee payroll processing and general ledger postings.
  • Oversee the filing of periodic VAT returns and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate in the preparation for yearly statutory audits.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and manage team dynamics.

Job Context:
Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support financial objectives and implement internal controls.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Recognized accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CMA).
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar financial analysis role.
