About the Role

Dammam Airports is seeking an Aviation Security Inspection Team member to prepare and implement security inspection protocols. This full-time role, based in Dammam, involves conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to maintain a secure environment for passengers, personnel, and facilities.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to foster a secure environment through proactive threat mitigation and incident management. This includes developing and executing security inspection protocols, performing comprehensive risk assessments, and ensuring continuous adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement security inspection protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive risk and threat assessments of security systems, analyzing current intelligence, security incidents, and emerging threats.
• Ensure timely compliance with governmental circulars, notices, regulations, and policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable security standards.
• Implement clear procedures for recognizing and reporting security incidents or suspicious activities, maintaining detailed records.
• Formulate and maintain a security risk register to track identified risks, mitigation measures, and ongoing monitoring efforts.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
• Provide and maintain comprehensive documentation of security incidents and breaches as mandated by regulatory agencies for audit purposes.
• Report audit findings and security performance metrics to airport leadership, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
• Establish and implement communication protocols to provide timely updates to management and stakeholders about security issues.
• Track and develop security training programs for staff to enhance their ability to detect, report, and respond to security threats.
• Implement process improvements by analyzing current practices and identifying inefficiencies.
• Control unit budgets by monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Team Collaboration and Development

• Work collaboratively with team members by sharing knowledge, providing support, and actively participating in team activities.
• Contribute to the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor individual and team performance.
• Track and evaluate team performance by setting clear goals, conducting regular reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
• Pursue continuous learning by seeking feedback, attending training sessions, and staying updated on industry trends.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 3-4 years of relevant experience in security inspection or a related field. The role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance within an aviation context.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring active participation in a team-oriented environment focused on maintaining high security standards at the airport.
