About the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a Back End LSM Mechanic to join the team at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the optimal performance of Back End Line Seaming Machines (LSM) and requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Back End LSM Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal functioning of the company's Back End Line Seaming Machines. This role ensures efficient production and minimal operational downtime through both proactive and reactive mechanical interventions, directly contributing to product quality and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all Back End LSM machinery according to established schedules and procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on LSM equipment quickly and accurately.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of worn or faulty components, including gears, bearings, seals, motors, and conveyor systems.
• Conduct precise adjustments and calibrations of machinery to optimize performance and product quality.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address machine-related issues affecting product specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing machine reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics or operators as needed.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with Line Seaming Machines (LSM) or similar industrial production equipment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules.
