About UE Systems
UE Systems has been a provider of ultrasound solutions since 1973, assisting customers worldwide in enhancing facility efficiency, reliability, and safety. The company is currently expanding its service operations in the Middle East. We are seeking a Saudi National Calibration Technician to join our newly established, full-time, on-site office in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
The Role of Calibration Technician
As the first Calibration Technician based in our Saudi Arabia office, this role is central to supporting service operations by calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing precision ultrasonic instrumentation. The technician will ensure that every product adheres to UE Systems' quality standards before being returned to customers, thereby directly contributing to reliable product delivery and customer service throughout the Middle East. This position requires a high degree of independence in managing workload and prioritizing tasks, while benefiting from the support of an experienced global service organization.
To ensure comprehensive product and service knowledge, the successful candidate will travel to UE Systems' headquarters in the Netherlands for approximately two weeks of hands-on technical training at the start of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate precision ultrasonic instrumentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Ensure all products meet UE Systems' quality standards prior to customer return.
- Manage individual workload, prioritize competing demands, and complete repairs and calibrations efficiently.
- Adhere to established quality and service turnaround expectations.
- Provide local technical support throughout the Middle East, following proven company standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Recognized technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience repairing, testing, calibrating, or servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
- Understanding of analog and digital printed circuit boards, electronic components, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and solder electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience operating electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a Saudi National.
- Ability to travel internationally to the Netherlands for approximately two weeks of required onboarding.

They possess strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, and are committed to delivering accurate, high-quality results and exceptional customer service while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, technical service, or international business environment.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipping and receiving.
- Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and/or ERP or inventory management system.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025-style calibration documentation, traceability, and calibration lab practices.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position located at UE Systems' office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role offers the opportunity to operate as a dedicated technical resource, supported by a global service organization and its established standards and processes. The initial international training in the Netherlands is an integral part of the onboarding, designed to equip the technician with comprehensive product and service expertise.
