About the Role

Fluke is seeking an Electronics Repair and Calibration Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing repairs and calibrations on a diverse range of test and measurement equipment, ensuring compliance with traceable and accredited standards. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of a new service laboratory in the region.

Role Context and Contribution

This position is integral to the setup and development of a new service laboratory in Saudi Arabia. The technician will work within a small, agile team, directly contributing to the success and future expansion of local operations. This involves taking ownership and applying technical skills to help shape and build the lab from its foundational stages, offering significant opportunities for both technical and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibrations in line with traceable and accredited standards.
  • Execute diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Support the setup and development of the new service laboratory in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to service operations, including service reports, certificates, and system updates.
  • Execute firmware, hardware, and software updates as required.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase turnaround time and lab efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant technical field. Strong hands-on experience with electronics repair is essential. The role requires a proactive and flexible mindset, along with a willingness to take ownership across various aspects of lab operations. The successful candidate will be eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Work Environment and Service Objectives

This full-time position is based in a newly established service lab in Riyad Ar Rimah, Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia, serving the Riyadh region. The team is small and agile, with an ambition for rapid growth. A primary objective is to achieve a 95% turnaround time for all repairs and calibrations within five working days, focusing on excellent service and responsiveness to customers.
