About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a Cashier to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role involves managing daily cash transactions, payments, receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Role Summary

The Cashier will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and proper documentation of all financial transactions. This includes handling various payment types, preparing daily reports, and assisting the finance team with essential accounting and administrative tasks. The position requires a detail-oriented individual committed to upholding financial security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash and card transactions accurately.
• Receive payments from customers and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
• Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash balances.
• Manage petty cash and maintain supporting documents.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Ensure proper cash handling and security procedures are followed.
• Deposit cash and cheques into the company bank account as required.
• Assist the Finance/Accounts team with basic accounting and administrative tasks.
• Report any cash discrepancies or irregularities to the Finance Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Finance team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar finance-related role.
• Experience with POS systems and accounting/ERP software is preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and involves working closely with the finance and accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations.
