Chef de Partie

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves preparing and ensuring the quality of food items according to established standards and recipes, while also supporting kitchen operations during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items as required.
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Thaw food from freezer storage in the refrigerator.
• Portion and arrange food on serving dishes according to presentation standards.
• Maintain accurate food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared.
• Provide support during peak periods and communicate excess food items to the Chef for daily specials.
• Communicate special menus and menu changes to the food and beverage staff.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, and communicate professionally with colleagues.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Leadership and Team Support

• Assist management in the hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching of employees.
• Serve as a role model for team members, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Required Qualifications

• A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is required.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in a culinary role.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
