About the Opportunity

MM Management Consultant is currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Estimation Engineer JIS to join our team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and involves working with one of our prestigious clients on significant projects within the region.

Role Overview

The Civil Estimation Engineer will play a crucial role in the bid preparation process by developing accurate and detailed cost estimates for various civil works. This position requires a thorough understanding of project documentation and a collaborative approach to coordinate with multiple engineering and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and contract conditions.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Estimate labor, material, equipment, subcontract, and indirect costs associated with civil works.
• Prepare estimates for specialized civil activities including earthworks, trenching, concrete works, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)/micro-tunneling, and valve chambers.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, planning, and project teams throughout the bid preparation phase.
• Develop commercial proposals, bid summaries, and cost comparison sheets.
• Provide support for budget reviews, change orders, and claim evaluations.
• Ensure all estimation activities comply with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and SEC standards.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 2 to 5 years of professional experience in civil estimation engineering. A proven track record in preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for diverse civil projects is essential for this role.
