The Role of a CNC Operator

Vallourec is seeking a Computer Numerical Control Operator to join its team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves managing machine-specific functions, ensuring optimal machine capability, and performing quality checks. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify job orders and check equipment functions for safety.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform assigned tasks.
• Set up and manage CNC machines for various jobs, including changing chuck jaw inserts, locating correct programs, ensuring correct tooling based on connection sheets, and adjusting machine offsets and tooling for size corrections.
• Perform gauging and measurement during setup and insert changes.
• Address common machining problems.
• Record production quantity, reworks, and tool usage during the process.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines.
• Utilize control panels and switches to monitor and operate machines for manufacturing output.
• Inspect products and compare output with job orders/technical data sheets to ensure quality.
• Conduct visual inspections of incoming pipes, parts, and connections using relevant measuring tools.
• Report maintenance issues and resolve common machining problems that may occur during shifts.
• Complete checklists for Auto Control, 5S, TPM, and AM as required, ensuring machines are regularly checked and cleaned.
• Use digital tools and computers to monitor and update production output.
• Repair connections and parts as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to monitor and operate CNC machines effectively.
• Proficiency in setting up equipment and performing quality checks.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern region, where the operator will work as part of a dedicated team to maintain and optimize machine performance.
