Data Centre Site Manager Role Overview

Quantum Switch Tamasuk Facilities Management (QST FM) is seeking a Data Centre Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a mission-critical data centre facility. This is a full-time, senior leadership position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and compliance of the site, operating within a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Data Centre Site Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence and managing all aspects of the facility. Key duties include:

• Leading and developing a team of technicians and engineers.
• Ensuring the availability and performance of critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, generators, fire systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Managing maintenance programs, change control processes, incident response, and business continuity activities.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
• Managing contractors, suppliers, operational budgets, and overall site performance.
• Driving compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001 standards.
• Supporting sustainability, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure management. This role requires an individual who is calm, decisive, and capable of providing strong leadership during critical incidents. A proven track record in managing complex operational environments is essential.

Operational Excellence and Compliance Standards

This position requires a deep understanding of critical infrastructure operations and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards. The manager will oversee the robust implementation of maintenance schedules and ensure strict adherence to international quality, environmental, information security, and occupational health and safety standards, specifically ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 45001.

Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

A core aspect of this role involves effective leadership and comprehensive stakeholder management. The Data Centre Site Manager will foster team development, cultivate strong relationships with customers, and strategically manage external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
