About the Role

Hemamco Company is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves working on Saudi Aramco-approved projects and other potential client engagements, focusing on ensuring high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.

Role Purpose

The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and site coordination of electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial and EPC projects. This includes overseeing activities from technical review through installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, specifications, datasheets, and project requirements.
  • Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, instrument indexes, loop diagrams, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate E&I activities with mechanical, civil, telecom, procurement, construction, and project teams.
  • Prepare and/or review Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and technical material requirements.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor technical proposals.
  • Support installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve technical queries and site engineering issues.
  • Verify compliance with approved project documentation and applicable standards.
  • Support the preparation of as-built documentation and project close-out records.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant academic and technical qualifications for the position.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC projects.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
  • Demonstrated professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.
